Heparin tubes contain Sodium or Lithium Heparin and are used to obtain a plasma sample. The sample is used for hemorheology or emergency biochemistry. For sodium ion test, please use lithium heparin tube. The tubes are available in plastic, a range of sizes and can be identified by a green cap.
